WE NEED YOUR HELP
Check out below how you can do just that.
Aid Stations
Along the course of 27 miles, we need to be sure everyone is staying properly fueled! We don't want to leave that up to each person, so we supply 4 aid stations along the way to make sure that our walkers have what they need to be safe. Your job would be to pick up the supplies (that we provide) on the Thursday or Friday before the walk, then simply have them at your aid station location for when the walkers are arriving on that day! More specific info will be provided upon registration.
Sandia Crest Drive Team
By the end of the day, you might be our walkers favorite people to see! Your job is simply to be at the top of the Crest and drive tired walkers back down to Hope Church (4710 Juan Tabo Blvd NE) to get back to their cars but also the food and recovery services that we'll have waiting for them! More specific info will be provided upon registration.
On-Call Drive Team
You are our drivers throughout the day that will help with walkers who weren't able to organize their own rides when they reach a location and they're calling it quits, or who might run into unexpected circumstances and need an emergency pick-up. So, you could end up driving a lot, or not at all, but your willingness is such a needed service! More specific info will be provided upon registration.
Prayer
Despite all the logistics and moving parts, let's not forget what this day is about: Prayer. We invite you to join us in prayer for the city, and praying for the walkers and servers, and sincerely hope you will. Below you'll find a list of the things we pray for, and Scripture we pray through, amongst many others not listed.
